ABOUT SATYA NADELLA: Everyone is aware of the present CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Microsoft Satya Narayana Nadella. The Indo-American Business Executive born on 19 August 1967 in Hyderabad, the city located in Telangana, India. He is the son of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Civil Servant Bukkapuram Nadella Yugandhar.

Studies: Nadella studied at Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, HYD. Then in 1988, for bachelor’s degree of electrical engineering, he attended Manipal Institute of Technology (then part of Mangalore University). Later in 1990, he traveled to the U.S. for Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. And from the University of Chicago, he has received his MBA degree.

Career: Before started working for Microsoft as a CEO, in 1992 he has started his career with Sun Microsystems as a Technology Staff Member.
In Microsoft, Nadella has led some of the core projects as the company was moving forward in cloud computing & the development of cloud infrastructure which is one of the world’s largest.
With a package of $84.3 million (2014) as a senior vice-president of Research and Development (R&D) for the Online Services Division and vice-president of the Microsoft Business Division, Nadella has proven his talent which made him the president of Microsoft; The $19 billion Server and Tools Business. With a transformation led in the company’s business and technology of client services to the cloud.
In bringing up the Azure cloud which includes Microsoft Database, Windows Server, and developer tools, he has helped the company for which he was credited. The cloud services revenue grew from $16.6 billion in 2011 to $20.3 billion in June 2013 when he took up the lead. And for this effort, he received $18 million as a pay in 2016.
He has joined the company with a base salary which was nearly was nearly $700,000.
